Axis Introduces Performance Related Fees
Since our early days we have charged clients a fee based on the market price of the property they were buying. That's pretty much an industry standard. It's served us well, but for most of our UK investment opportunities we think it is time to change ...
We wanted to make the Finder's Fee reflect the value that we create for clients. Basing commission on market value goes part of the way, but takes no account of the equity in a deal. Now we can reflect the value we create more accurately.
So from 1st July Axis will charge a fee that's based on the amount of equity in a property that we deliver. After much deliberation we have decided that the standard fee will be 15% of the equity we give you - leaving you 85% of the total.
We think this is very fair and focuses on what value we create for you.
Of course Diamond Members receive 20% discount on all fees so will pay less - 12% of the equity leaving them 88%! If you plan to build a portfolio then check out the many benefits of Diamond Membership.
Here's a couple of examples:
Property valued at £150,000. Negotiated investor price £120,000. Equity £30,000. Your Finder's Fee will be 15% of this - £4,500 plus VAT. That leaves you 85% of the equity.
Diamond Members will pay just £3,600, saving £900! Learn more about Diamond Membership here.
Property valued at £500,000. Negotiated investor price £400,000. Equity £100,000. Your Finder's Fee will be £15,000, leaving you £85,000 equity.
Diamond Members will pay just £12,000, saving £3,000! Learn more about Diamond Membership here.
What you will recognise is that both the property value AND the discount negotiated are now automatically taken into account by calculating the Finder's Fee based on the equity offered to you. This focuses us on fighting hard to negotiated the highest possible discount - and we both share in the value that's created as a result.
