Rod Thomas Last week I visited the monthly meeting of Sussex Property Networking Club (PNC) and had the privilege of listening to Kevin Green. He was one of the TV 'Secret Millionaires' and has built an enormous portfolio of 400 properties worth £29m in the last few years. All credit to him.

I love listening to and learning from other experts. Even after 30 years in the business there are always new ideas to consider and new insights to gain.

One of the two key themes that Kevin spoke about was social housing, where the landlord lets a property long term to a Government agency for high dependency clients. The rental is guaranteed, full management is done and it's a true armchair investment.

Back to the Sussex PNC. They meet on the first Tuesday of every month in Brighton. You can expect to see me there most months. The next meeting is Tuesday 6th July and Ryan Pinnick will be talking. His speciality is using social media on the internet to generate leads for buying property from motivated sellers. I can't wait.
