| July 2006 | 955.8 | 1159.1 | 741.6 | 673.6 |

| September 2006 | 759 | 852 | 822 | 1226 |
| October 2006 | 781 | 947 | 760 | 1128 |
| November 2006 | 807 | 1012 | 772 | 1236 |
The difference across the country is staggering, look at the average price for scotland compared to england. however this will be affected by the London factor, it would be interesting to see the figures for England taking out the area of London.
Nevertheless the figures are interesting for property investors and can give you an idea of ROI when you purchase a buy to let. What is not clear with these figures are the areas where rental prices are higher. Obviously the city centres will yield better results with regards to commanding higher rental proces but the overall rental yield might be better outside the city as the price of the houses are less expensive.
